Commercial Description:
A cask-conditioned beer with a touch of maple. AKA Amber Maple Ale
An amber colored beer, lightly hopped, with a nice malty finish and a very slight touch of maple. Go ahead and salute your brew! The brewer is always tweaking the recipe and it may or may not be on cask.

Sampled on draft at the brewery this beer poured a dark red-amber color with a tan head. The aroma was lightly tangy and fruity. The flavor was tangy, bitter and had notes of floral hops and nut. The finish was medium length tangy and dry. Mediocre.

Brownish and slightly hazey. Nice haylike initial flavors. Very friendly. Some bitterness but much less than I expected for a brew of this style. Not over the top in personality and I appreciate that. Surprizingly good beer IMHO. Not much arom, just plain old good beer olfactory with out any negative attributes. Slight ale bitterness on the finish for a few moments.

Not a bad drinking beer but not outstanding either. The hint of maple is too understated to be a factor. Low ingredients on everything makes this a session beer.

Cask hand pump. Very small head. Some honey, vanilla, and a little spice in the nose. Almost no carbonation and very smooth. There was a slight sourness balanced nicely with a honey sweetness with a dry woody finish.

12/27/07 - Winter Road Trip ’07 - Cask sample at brewpub. Light amber color, small, white head. Decent lacing. Fruity and caramel nose with a touch of hops. Taste is bitter throughout, touch of caramel sweetness with some fruity esters. Very Earthy bitterness and hop flavor. English style.

Cask-conditioned and hand pumped. Light maple honey notes. A woody character with mild hops. Light and pleasant aroma. Golden amber clear with thin head. Medium bodied with thin carbonation, a smooth cask ale. Starts with good floral sweetness. Some maple and honey. MIld maple wood or oaken notes. Light subtle malts. Mild bitterness and smooth after. A great session beer.

2007/12/27:On cask at North Country. Mild amber ale aroma, fruity esters with light grassy hops. Smooth and a bit woody. Clear amber-brown with creamy off-white lacing head. Medium watery body with smoooth carbonation. Great cask ale, with mild woody fruity esters. Very light hops, apple and mild grain. Delicious cask beer, reminds me of English pub ale.
