North Country Kölsch 45

Sampled on draft at the brewery this beer poured a clear yellow color with a white head. The aroma was faintly fruity with not a whole lot going on. The flavor was tart, bitter and tangy with a mild basic lager quality. The finish was bitter and tangy.

Poured a golden color similar to a pilsner. Aroma was of light hops. The flavor was really smooth, crisp, and had a real light bitterness to it in the end. I think this was my first kolsch but it was quite good.
