Pale straw colored and headless, I swear I could smell the honecomb wax in here. Very light in the flavor department, praise be. The finish was abrupt and welcomed.

| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Oct 25, 2005 Tap at the brewpub. Ultra light straw color with a thin dishwater white head. Light honey and caramel corn aromas, just in time for halloween. Flavors are not quite what I was expecting. Which is mildly surprising. A dry honey flavor, accentuated by a light clover finish. Really not much there, but decently made and quite drinkable. RAYBOY01 (1858), Chicago, Illinois, USA
| 1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 2/5 | 2/10 | 1/5 | 3/20 | Oct 25, 2005 Sour, stale, wheat aroma asails my nose...pours very flat and dead...flavors are timid, watery, and off. I am hearing that their fresh beer is actually decent. What is wrong with their bottles? badgerben (3605), Blaine, Minnesota, USA
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Oct 22, 2005 Pale gold color with a thin head. Slightly rotten, sweet aroma. Lots of and lots of bland goodness in the taste. Seriously, it’s just colored water. Not offensive, but just blah. Bad way to end a marathon trip through Wisconsin and Illinois. Clear, pale yellow color, no head at all, not even a sliver or a slice.Disappointing.
Aroma: honeyish, sweet, then sharp, and sickly (I said it again)...after that, empty, vacant, and vapid.
Taste: limp, flaccid, and signifying nothing. Pale, lifeless, containing no desirable qualities. Like getting down in a canoe, if you follow me...
Extraordinarily light in body, lacking any kind of flavor, no finish...no start...not sure what they were trying to do with this one. They got the pale part right, but there’s nothing ale-ish about it, nor anything particularly pleasing.
Very sad. Needs more beer in here.

Light Hops Poking Out at the End and Some Very Light Spice In There as Well. Pretty Simple Straightforward Brew....Lacking Character or Depth. CharlesDarwin (1849), Point Judith, Rhode Island, USA

Never experienced these flavors in a beer. Unfortunately it lacks on all other fronts including appearance, nose, and palate. Watery and pretty bland finish.
