Bottle thanks to Skyview. Poured clear, medium reddish-brown with a very thin layer of beige head. Aroma was of artificially-sweetened nutty and cocoa sugars.. very, very sweet. Flavor was very similar.. sweet chocolate, hazelnuts, and drawn caramel.. the diabetes-inducing sweet factor was ever-so-present, and this was just a chore to drink. Light-bodied and watery though most of the drink, only supported by beefed-up sweetness.. poor balance. This was just a weak attempt.

On Tap at both the Chetek and Eau Claire brewpub locations (brewed only at the Eau Claire locale). Pours a clean brown brew with an average fast dissolving off white head. Aroma of roasted hazelnuts, caramel and sweet multi-grain malt. Taste is medium body, a lot of carbonation and a bit watery. Finish is clean and watery with some hint of bitterness.

On tap at both Chetek and Eau Claire brewpub locations. Brown with minimal head. Faint nut nose. Fizzy tasting beer with very little nut flavor.

This ale is chestnut in body with a slender white head. The aroma is a chocolate covered caramel. It tastes of caramel and chocolate with a mild nutty bitterness. Some added carbonation might perk this up a bit.

Kinda a cola brown color with little head. Slightly nutty and low roasted malt flavor. Caramelly taste with a little nuttiness. Easy to drink from the low carbonation in the bottle. Unoffensive taste but the lack of carbonation makes it feel like your drinking caramel juice.

Pours amber with red highlights. Aroma of very sweet malts, nuts and caramel accents. Flavor is a less sweet version of the aroma. Definitely one of their better beers.
