Clear, caramel brown color, able froth, creamy, long-ish lasting. Aroma is sweet, malty, nuts and caramel. Spot on for a brown. Mild entry on the palate, soft and sweetish, but rather insubstantial, all in all. Medium/ light body, thin mouthfeel, soft, chocolatey finish. Drinks easy, if lighter in character, flavor than I like...a big relief that it didn’t totally blow, after those last four.

Auburn. Some maple and peat in the nose. Flavor has faint brown-ness, sweet like maple syrup, quite toasty.

Dark copper color with a small tan head. Dark caramel and mild floral hops aromas. Flavors of pale malt, with hints of caramel and mild rose hip. Smooth and drinkable english style ale.

This stuuf has almost no aroma ecept for light hints of nuts and flavor was very thin and slightly nutty. Finish was watery and flat.

Sample at the brewpub. Hazy elm-bark brown with a decent bit of head..pleasant pecan-hazelnut nose...fairly dry nutty-caramel initial flavor quickly turns brackish, alkaline, metallic...it must be the water.

Brown colour with minimal head. Smells of nuts and butterscoth. Taste is creamy and nutty with a decent hop accent. A good example of a brown ale although I prefer mine a little more robust.
