phishpond417 (1861), Madison, Wisconsin, USA Aug 4, 2009 I’m not sure what to say about this beer. I know how i feel about it. But i don’t think im that far off when i saw it tasted like someone just threw a handful of grain in some water and kegged it. That’s really the best way for me to describe it. tasteless in every aspect. Hophead22 (1056), Redlands, by way of Wisconsin,, California, USA Jul 26, 2009 Tap at the brewpub. Light yellow pour with a thin white head. Very light flavor and aroma, not much to speak of, but it wasn’t poorly made, just not alot of anything there, slight hop bite in the end, have to search for it though. tytoanderso (1382), St. Louis Park, Minnesota, USA Jan 7, 2008 12oz bottle. Aroma of sweet corn, dust, green apples starting to go bad. Pours clear bright yellow with a bright white head. Mouth filling carbonation with an off putting lemon zest tartness followed by some wet cardboard and pale lager flavors. Thin on the tongue with an oppressive amount of carbonation. ChainGangGuy (2522), Kennesaw, Georgia, USA Sep 11, 2007 Appearance: Pours a cloudy, pale gold body with a small white head.
Smell: Odd, distressing aroma of rotten lemons and perhaps corn.
Taste: An equally odd, but even more distressing flavor of abandoned citrus fruits and musty corn. Good grief.
Mouthfeel: Light-bodied. Medium carbonation.
Drinkability: The muskie or "ugly pike" is an appropriate mascot for this beer. kp (8400), Woodstock, Georgia, USA Sep 9, 2007 Date: 09/08/2007

CaptainCougar (5379), Rockville, Maryland, USA Sep 8, 2007 12oz bottle from brewpub: Pours a transparent golden bronze with a thin, wispy-lacing white head. Aroma of lightly sweet, pale grainy malt and a hint of metallic notes and noble hops. Body starts thin and watery with a strange raspberry seed tartness and fizzy carbonation toward candy-like tart finish. Very weird, but if you called it a raspberry ale, I’d probably have rated it higher. Skyview (4007), Papoose Jct., Minnesota, USA Jun 21, 2007 Picked up single 12-oz bottle from brewpub. Pours a light golden straw brew with a thin off white film and a light white ring. Aroma of sweet popcorn, some flowery hops, and a touch of apple. Taste is highly carbonated, some sweetness on the tongue and a corn flake taste finish. Finish is watery and too clean. One of their better ultra-llight brews. frankenkitty (1900), Oak Lawn, Illinois, USA Sep 28, 2006 Pours golden/amber with a small and quick white head while dusty particulate hangs. Roasted corn husk aroma with DMS. <strike>Flavor butters my nuts.</strike> Flavor of buttered nuts. Kinda sickly and oily with a sharp poke of carbonation at the finish. If you want to find a good example of beers with diacetyl problems, turn to Northwoods. Plus I’d like to see a bottle where it didn’t look like the label was slapped on by a retard. (Do I have to be P.C. here?)
