Oct 25, 2005 Tap at brewpub. Light golden color with a small white head. Light grass and grain aromas with a light back drop of clean yeast. Cream ale flavors of light malt and grain. Light and nearly too much spritz. Mild brown sugar in the finish that is light and sweet. Clean though not very exciting.

Nov 26, 2005 clear yellow nice thick white head good lace. nice malt aroma some light fruits. Avg palate a bit watery. Flavor is a bland ale some sweet malts lots of grain.. very plain.

Oct 22, 2005 Light gold color with no head. Sweet and slightly moldy corn aroma and taste. It’s pretty much the same as any of their other beers. You have to wonder if these are all from the same keg.

Nov 18, 2003 Bottled. After the other bad bottles I had from this place, I had some concern, but this one was not skunked or otherwise ruined. Pours a very pale straw color under a thin but persistent head with a nice stream of bubbles. Advertised sweetness seems to come from corn, though. There is a slightly fruity ale taste, but otherwise it seems little different from an American Standard. This was not on tap when I visited, so I took a bottle home, and at least this one is closer to the way the other tap beers tasted.

Aug 28, 2005 All Northwoods brews seem to have a similiar taste. Perhaps they need to filter the water used more thoroughly? Golden straw color, corn sweetness. Very average at best.

Jun 21, 2007 Picked up single 12-oz bottle from brewpub. Pours a light golden straw brew with a thin off white film and a light white ring. Aroma of sweet popcorn, some flowery hops, and a touch of apple. Taste is highly carbonated, some sweetness on the tongue and a corn flake taste finish. Finish is watery and too clean. One of their better ultra-llight brews.

Jul 26, 2009 Tap at the brewpub. Light yellow pour with a thin white head. Very light flavor and aroma, not much to speak of, but it wasn’t poorly made,just not alot of anything there, slight hop bite in the end, have to search for it though.

Oct 24, 2005 Yet another bottle of beer that leaves me wondering what I was drinking. In the glass, it took on the appearance of a urine sample. The aroma was kind of funky, a soured wet hay smell. The flavor was similar, sour and acidic.
