Dark black pour, small tan head, dark chocolate smell. Dry bitter aftertaste that allows you to have more than one in a sitting! Microbrew of the month club. This was excellent and I would definetly buy more!

A true Irish dry stout, with a nice hint of hops, creamy and smooth, love that roasted coffee nose.

Very good stout, sweetish and reminds me of Sumatran coffee. I think it would be better if I could get it from the tap rather than in bottle form.

Poured nice and thick and foamy, very dark and black like its name and with nice tan head. The nose was beery but with stout characteristics including som dark riper fruit. Not too dry, good mouth feel, drinkabale. forgot where I got this one. Somehow found its way to my fridge then gullet. good quaf

Rich roasted coffee aroma. Black with a thumb thick creamy mocha head. One sip and I know this beer is way underrated. A touch thin, but it has an intense, if one dimensional, black coffee and roasted barley flavor. Finishes bitter and clean. This is the kind of beer I happily drink over and over.
