(Draught@Pikkulintu) Very dark reddish brown with a small, tight, creamy and lasting head. Roasted-malty aroma with some licorice. Slightly sweet, smoothly roasty and bitter flavor with some dried fruit, licorice, and very soft aromatic hops in the finish. Medium-bodied, silky-smooth-carbonated palate. A very silky and lightly burned, but not very hoppy or interesting Imperial Stout.

Dark chocolate brown color, small tan head. Dark malty, licoricey aroma with hints of dark chocolate. Tasty salt licorice and alcohol flavor. Long roasted aftertaste. Another outstanding beer from Nynäshamns.

Jul 19, 2008 Draught. Has a black colour with a pale head. The aroma is roasted coffee beans, milk chocolate and some malty fudge. The flavour is roasted with notes of coffee and chocolate. A bit watery with (too) little bitterness IMHO. I would not call this imperial stout.

Jul 15, 2008 Bottle, 6.5%. Weak creamy, fruity liquorice aroma. Almost black colour, small light brown head. Very nice and quite flavourful, roasted, creamy coffee with liquorice aftertaste. Hint of yeast.

Pours deep brown with red edges. A small, beige, film head on top. Aroma is lightly roasted, chocolate and a slight fruity tartness. Light and a little thin mouthfeel - especially when you’re expecting an Imperial stout. But the flavour is nice, lots of dark chocolate and a pleasant hops note. Very good as a regular stout, only good as an Imperial.

Jul 12, 2008 On-tap at Bishops Arms, Järntorget, Gothenburg. Dark brown almost black color with a small pale brown head. Aroma of roasted malt, coffee, chocolate, licorice and frutiness. Roasted/burned malty flavor with notes of chocolate, coffee, licorice, fruit and a bit of smoke. A bit lame for an imp. stout almost more like a regular stout or porter. But still good.
