ekstedt (1958), Göteborg, Sweden Sep 24, 2008 Bottle (50 cl) at Haket, Göteborg, Sweden. Shady copper, small off-white head. Fruity and nutty aroma with notes of aniseed and plums, spicy and earthy hops. Light in body, medium carbonation. Well balanced, dry, with moderate bitterness. gnoff (2832), Göteborg, Sweden Oct 7, 2007 (50 cl bottle at Haket, Göteborg) Clear dark copper to brown color. Acidic and smooth grainy scent. Grainy and malty taste. A bit thin mouthfeel, medium bitterness. Easy to drink and nice. Rastacouere (5409), Montréal, Quebec, Canada Jun 10, 2007 Hazy orangey brown, very small white head resumes to cover swiftly. Soft malty nose, slightly caramelly, kinda toasty, but certainly not their most integrated. A bit stale to begin with, devoid of evolution. Perhaps not too fresh? I found this bottle at haket in Göteborg. Absent hop aromas, sacky if anything. Grainy as well with nutmeg powder sweetness procuring a shy spiciness. Very low carbonation does not help with the stale impression. Sandy finish. poor.A rather poor effort from this usually very good brewer. motelpogo (4124), Plzen, Czech Republic Feb 11, 2007 rbesg06, bottle at haket, served at room temperature. brown amber colour, salty aroma with a trace of lime peel. hard texture, not much in the flavour department except a touch of sweet caramel. didn’t go anywhere MiP (6029), Flensburg, Germany Dec 31, 2006 Draught, 4.0%. Quite cloudy dark red/prune colour. Small light brown head. The flavour reminds me slightly of Belgian yeast, only weaker. Quite drinkable.
