The aroma is medium hoppy with grassy tones up front alongside light hints of herbs and hay. Medium malty with notes of grain, bread, light buttery caramel and toffee. Some hints of dough alongside a light touch of yeast. The flavour is of creamy malt - grain, bread, light caramel and light butter. Hops bring tones of grass, light earth and mild herbs. The mouthfeel is soft, round and light carbonated. Medium sweet and light to medium bitter. Medium bodied. Toasted malts, nuts, butter, apricots, spices and grassy hops in the aroma. medium-bodied with notes of nuts, butter, caramel in the flavour with a long grassy and spicy bitter finish. Svesse (1621), Hässelby, Sweden Jun 20, 2008 (Draught at Akkurat, Stockholm, 17 June 2008) Copper colour with firm, frothy, white head. Malty, spicy nose with toffee, butter, toasted bread and grassy hops. Malty taste with notes of toasted bread, orange peel and spicy hops in the finish. Medium body, nice spicy bitterness, rather sweet. Very nice and tasty märzen. omhper (10393), Stockholm, Sweden Jun 19, 2008 Draught at Akkurat, Stockholm. Clear amber, dense creamy head. Light grassy buttery nose. Medium sweet with rounded mouthfeel and medium body. A balanced amount of grassy hops compliments the buttery lightly caramelly malt. Finishes with good late bitterness and some resin. A well made märzen in the Franconian style. These guys knows what they are doing...
