mjs (422), Finland Apr 21, 2008 (From old notes, draught at Pikkulintu on 2008-01-04) Surprisingly light taste in which some hops can be found. In nose something irritating resembling cellar. Still, enjoyable porter mybestfriend (230), Gothenburg, Sweden Mar 1, 2008 Updated: Mar 7, 2008Tap. Black colour with a tan head. Very much tar on the nose! Loads of roasted malts and coffe beans. Flavour has a little malt sweetness. Roasted and bitter notes of tar and coffee beans. Much tar in the finish as well with an good amount of bitterness. Nice! thewolf (3392), Kolding, Denmark Feb 21, 2008 Bottle, bought @ Nørrebro Bryghus.
Pour inpenetrably black with a fine, staying, creamy, beige head. Sweetish aroma with light liqourice, chocolate and mild coffee notes. Light mouthfeel, but not thin. Flavour has a light metallic edge at first, then a terrific dryness with roasted malts, lots of dark chocolate and light coffee. Sad about the metallic off-flavour - otherwise a stunning beer. charlotte (1108), Vanløse, Denmark Jan 26, 2008 Black with beige creamy head.Taste of dark chocolate and coffee ,feels mild and smooth and a still a great Porter by even 5% alc.
