Bottle. Pours an opaque black, with a creamy, beige head. Heavily roasted malt aroma -- slightly burnt, ashy, musty, leathery, licorice. Heavily roasted malt flavor, some ashiness, dry hops, hint of dry, bitter dark chocolate and strong, cold espresso. Dry, ashy aftertaste. Mouthfeel starts creamy, ends dryish. Medium body. Wonderfully heavy stout -- would be nearly perfect with a little more alcohol to bring flavors forward a bit and enhance body.

bottle 500ml 4,8€ from CM Sello EXP 10/2008 murky dark brown thick and lasting beige head Taste:strong roasted almost burnt malts bit coffee and chocolate as well. It is dryish for me. So low in alcohol so much taste. Oh our minister of health affairs should be happy too.

Bottled. Enjoyed at Happy Barrel in Vasa. Pitch dark in color, minor beige head, lacings. The aroma is burnt malt with sweet syrup. The flavor is surprisingly damp in all it’s maltyness. There is a dry and malty aftertaste.

Black beer with a medium brown head. Quite strong roasted aroma. The flavor is a bit sweet and roasted with notes of coffee and chocolate. Fairly good medium bodied stout.

Bottle (@ RBESG 2008): Literally black with a small, persistent beige head; full dry roast-malty nose; moderate to full dry bitter flavour, quite light bodied; shorter dry roast-malty and bitter finish followed by a light malty sweetness. Good, but not too impressive......
