orange golden and a bit murky. white head. Bitter as the label promises. Quite lovely bitter hops that remind me of english ale hops (?) in both aroma and flavor. very delicious, but a bit stingy and watery in the end. in the end also peppermint-like refreshing feeling. maybe a bit of a bit too fizzy, but when you leave a while in the glass it gets better.

Draught @ STBOWF. Stockholm Beer Festival 2008, Sweden.
Clear medium to dark orange color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, fruity, spicy, apple, smoke - peak light notes, moderate yeasty. Flavor is moderate to light light heavy sweet and bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [270908]

Bottle. Beautiful orange colour. Semi hazy. Smells sweet and complex of malt, grapefruit hops and yeast (smells belgian). Hoppy taste. Booth malt and hops in the aftertaste. Bitter and refreshing. Body is a little thinn. Overall: One of the best swedish beers i’ve ever had.

(On tap) Clear amber golden with a creamy, off-white head leaving laces. Aroma of yeast and fruit. Medium body with fruits, nuts and a distinct yeasty note. Bitter finish. Somehow manages to appear more Belgian then British! 190908

Bottle from Systembolaget Amber colour with a smal white head. Great Swedish interpretation of an ESB.
