Rich hoppy bitterness. Quite dry but still with pale and a maybe a hint of crystal malts underneath. Big lingering bitter finish. Long, hoppy, top quality pils. fiulijn (7420), Como; Lausanne (CH); Malmö (SWE), Italy

Thick hoppy sweet aroma. Smooth mouthfeel and texture. Feels low in carbonation. Really nice malty flavours. Gentle citrusy (Liberty) hop aroma and flavours. Definitely the best pilsner Ive ever tasted. Head falls down after a little while. Could drink this all night. Rastacouere (5564), Montréal, Quebec, Canada

Comments: I had 3 pints of that while in Sweden and were it not for Jamtlands Heaven, Id have gotten more. Lean bodied and crisp, elegant pilsner that does not really feel Czech with the minimalist approach its malts take. Really hay-like, never toasty or biscuity (else itd be perfect), but the hop attack is confident, strong, very floral and fresh. Delicate herbal intricacies. Very clean and clear, but a gorgeous example of a bitter and poundable pils.

Pours a deep, clear, shinny golden color with a vivid carbonatation. There is a medium, creamy, white head that leaves lacing on my pint as I drink this golden liquid. Aroma is really hoppy, flowery, herbal, some lemon and spice. It reminds me of hop additions in the hop kettle when I homebrew. As soon as you drink it you feel hops, then some malt, some sweetness and it the end the bitternes lingers. Body is medium, very firm. It fills you, but at the same time it let´s you begging for more...Aftertaste is hoppy. This beer is so straightforward, refreshing, fullfilling. It´s really hard to beat a well crafted pilsner. ekstedt (2447), Göteborg, Sweden
| 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Feb 4, 2007 Draught at Bishops Arms, Göteborg. Pours a clear pale golden colour, with a fluffy white head. Wonderful complex mix of grainy, bready malt, and a palette of herbal, grassy hops. Smooth mouthfeel, perfect carbonation, a light sweetness that is overthrown by a firm bitterness in the aftertaste. Superb pils, but feels more like a german pils to me. bager (2121), Copenhagen N, Denmark
