| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Dec 17, 2008 12 oz bottle, thanks to cbkshubert. Pours copper with small but lasting beige head. The aroma is crystal malt, a little bit of fruity hop resin, and some squash. The flavor is crystal malt again, that profile that seems like iced tea. There are some planty hops in there with a touch of pine. The finish is papery and slightly bitter. Ok, not great. iowaherkeye (1877), Los Angeles, California, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Dec 3, 2008 12oz bottle, no date, thanks to Sparky27 for the bottle! Also, my label states 6% ABV instead of the listed 5.5%. Hazy brown orange with a one finger very quickly fading beige head down to a thin ring. Aroma is caramel malt, toasted grain, and a tinge of honey. Flavor adds just a touch of pine hops. Finish is a little earthy with bitterness peaking around a 2. Very low pinpoint carbonation with a medium body. Not too bad, but fair. greenhorn1 (462), Mission Viejo, California, USA
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Dec 1, 2008 12 oz bottle. Pours a clear copper, with zero head. Aroma is malt and a bit nutty. Flavor...is very bland, in fact, there is something that is just not quit right. The mouthfeel is very thin, just about watery. This is not a good beer. Cletus (5058), Connecticut, USA
