Commercial Description:
A 2001 Silver Medal Winner at the North American Brewers' Association competition. A deep-copper colored medium - bodied ale. Its fresh flavor is smooth and carefully balanced with a nice mellowness and hint of caramel malt balanced by medium hop bitterness. It is an all malt beer that is naturally carbonated. A very drinkable beer all on its own and pairs well with all kinds of foods.

Nice session beer, pouring a hazy amber color with a lazy white head. The aroma is mainly caramel malt with orange and floral hops. It’s a creamy caramel drink with a flavor of orange hops and a smattering of herbal bitterness in the finish. Okay.

A good looking amber ale with a white heade. Not great. but pleasant mix of sweet malt, floral hops, and some bitter hops. Low enough alcohol to make it a good session beer, and to provide a good explanation for the lack of in-your-face intensity and complexity.

Bottle. Pours copper color with a small white head. Mild aroma without much recognizable character, flavor is sweet, caramelly with a bit of hop in the finish. Medium body and little carbonation. So-so ale, better than the macros - but not by much.

Bottle. Again, a rotting fruit/melon nose. Very mild with some slight hops. Sour finish. Blah.

Clear amber color with a big head and lots of lacing. Aroma is caramel and wet sponge. Taste is a congealed malty mess. Way too sweet and sticky.

Deep amber w/ a big white head. Med. bodied. A little overly spicy. Very estery. Not much caramel but a fair amount maltiness. A fair amount of diacetyl. Very little hops in th finish. Fairly typical of the style.
