Sampled on 4/16/2009. This Pale Ale pours a medium orange gold color from a 12oz bottle. Small to medium sized white foamy head. The aroma is orange and citrus, some caramel malt. A medium bodied Pale Ale. The malts are fruity and sweet. The hops are grapefruity and citrusy. Lively carbonation. Grapefruity hops and not much else. Could use a little some more maltiness. Mouthfeel is full. Finish is crisp and sharp. Aftertaste is slightly bitter.

Tap at the brewpub. Golden color, white head that sticks to the glass and laces nicely. No nose to speak of. Bitter hop taste and not much malt. Typical pale ale color, appearance, and taste. Nothing special.

Bottle. First time I’ve seen this around. Pours a slight hazy gold with a 2 finger foamy white head that leaves spotty lacing. Nose is grassy and light floral hops with a malt background. Taste is floral hops, caramel malt and light citrus in the finish. Medium mouth feel. Pretty good pale.

Bottle. Pours an orange golden body with a white head. Light hop bitterness with nits of grapefruit. Caramel malty backbone. Decent brew.

tap at the brewpub - Pours amber with a sizable, white head. It smells of citrus accented hops and some light malt. The flavor has caramel malt and is moderately bitter with a touch of citrus. The balance is pretty good. Average pale ale.

Amber-gold pour with a foamy head. Caramel malt and citrus hops aroma and flavor. Nothing wrong with this brew, but nothing great to write about either. It’s a good, solid, middle of the road pale ale.
