| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Nov 15, 2007 Draft at the brewery. Dark auburn color with a small head. Nice rich, malty, bready aroma with some bitterness. Flavor’s a little more malty than I expected from the description, although it is well balanced. Really nice, even flavor of caramel, citrus, and pine. Not as overwhelming as I’d expected from the awards it has won, but still a really nice APA. crizay (1050), Brook Park (was Tampa,FL), Ohio, USA
