Pours a medium copper with a fluffy white head that leaves good lacing. Clean, crisp aroma of spruce. Flavor has some minty notes to blend in well with the subtle citrusy bitterness. Clean, crisp mouthfeel. Excellent with the pizza I had for lunch. GuilTTy (538), Cherry Hill, New Jersey, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jul 18, 2006 Hazy then settling to clear light amber supporting a thin but stubborn off white head. Citrusy aroma with some toffee and hops. Crisp hoppy flavor along the lines of an IPA/Pale crossover with notes of grapefruit, fresh cut grass and malt. Short and dry finish. A decent pale from a brewer in a more than decent location! eaglefan538 (2399), Wilmington, Delaware, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jun 11, 2006 A decent take on the American pale ale style, pouring with a nice initial head that yielded good lacing. The aroma did have some v. light caramel in it and American hops. The flavor took on some pine and herbal hop flavors. Clearly not an overdone pale ale, this one was still welcomed over the sweet other beers from OC (hops much more detectable, as they should have been). OhioDad (2491), Hilliard, Ohio, USA

Aromas of nice ripe grapefruits and blooming wildflowers over a light field of barley. Flavor is pretty hoppy as well. Nice grapefruit flavor blends with floral notes and gives way to a pretty nice malt background of caramel. Finish is slightly bitter with a pretty smooth mouthfeel. This was much better than I anticipated it to be. A pretty nice pale ale.. A very nice compliment to pizza after my daughter’s softball game tonight. cbkschubert (2008), Cochise Co., Arizona, USA

It had a nice hoppy flavor with a smooth mouth feel. A definite winner considering that it was a Pale Ale. The Brewpub itself is definitely worth revisitng as well, very nice ambience. A step up from the typical industrial look that is popular with Brewpubs.
