| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Dec 31, 2006 12oz bottle acquired in trade with cbkschubert (thanks!). I assume this is the same beer as mine didn’t say ’Docs’ on it either (this is the only Oak Creek Pale Ale though). Poured a deep and cloudy amber color with an averaged sized of white head. Aromas of pine needles, citrus, and a touch of caramel. Tastes of citrus, caramel and light pine. Nice hop presence. Thin body. jcwattsrugger (5581), Florida and, New Jersey, USA

| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Feb 21, 2007 Bottle thanks to cbkschubert: Pours a clear dark orange copper with a spotty-lacing thin white head. Mild piny earthy hoppy aroma has a touch of toasty caramel malt. Body starts lightly sweet and malty with a drier, earthy piny hop balance that seems to have a little age on it. Not sure how old this bottle is. It could be up to a year old. I’d probably score this higher if it were fresher, but it seems like a pretty decent APA. | 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Sep 4, 2009 Hazy golden pour. Sticky white head. The nose is a little bit citrusy with some orange peel and a bit of soft caramel. A touch of bready yeastiness as well. There is a kiss of light cookie dough malts as well. It’s sweeter than I’d usually like in a pale ale, but it has a reasonable balance with a bit of toffeeish character and some nice hoppiness on the back. Pretty simple malt forward APA.
