| 2.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 8/20 | Apr 22, 2009 Sampled on 4/22/2009. This Hefeweizen pours a slightly hazy yellow gold color from a 12oz bottle. Small sized white foamy head without much retention. The aroma is bubblegum and wheaty. A light to medium bodied Hefeweizen. The malts are wheaty and sweet with a touch of banana and clove. Hops are slightly floral. Kind of flat tasting and under-carbonated. Sort of between a wheat ale and a hefe. Not a very good example of either. Nothing really unpleasant tasting here, its just that there is not a lot of flavor. Mouthfeel is full. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly bitter. Braudog (3773), Dayton, Ohio, USA

Had a good banana aroma. Hazy gold color with a good white foamy head. Flavor constisted mainly of banana. Foamy head gave it some creamy flavor also. Enjoyable hefe. dwyerpg (2545), Las Vegas, Nevada, USA

| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 4/5 | 12/20 | Oct 11, 2004 Pours a very hazy, tan copper color, with a wispy off white head. This is from a just tapped keg. It smells predominantly of bubble gum and a bit of banana, as well as some base level graininess. The taste is all bubblegum, perhaps a bit too much. It is light and would be quite refreshing if the bubblegum character was reduced a bit. There is a bit of the characteristic clove and banana here as well. Needs to be a bit tamer in the bubblegum compartment, but otherwise a pretty decent example.
