Had a good banana aroma. Hazy gold color with a good white foamy head. Flavor constisted mainly of banana. Foamy head gave it some creamy flavor also. Enjoyable hefe. dwyerpg (2537), Las Vegas, Nevada, USA

| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 12/20 | Jul 26, 2006 Mildly hazy golden pour under a thinner than expected white head. Citrus and banana aroma. Flavor of bananas, fresh baked bread, mild pepper and malt. I didn’t pick up the cloves (or confused them with the peppery taste). Silky mouthfeel with just the right amount of carbonation and a mildly sweet but crisp finish. There are much better hefes out there that are also much easier to find but this one is worth the trip simply for the Sedona scenery! Kathy (241), Washington DC, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Mar 12, 2003 Opaque gold appearance, just as a hefe should look. STRONG banana aroma with a hint of cloves and ginger. Sweet banana flavor with more ginger than clove in it, but banana is by far the dominant flavor. Has some sour yeast flavor in the finish. beerbill (1954), Laurel, New York, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jul 5, 2009 12 oz. bottle courtesy of a trade with Sparky27. Pours a cloudy dirty yellow gold with a thin white head that quickly disappeared and left no lace. Mild aroma of banana and cloves with just a bit of lemon in the nose as well. The flavor is stronger than the aroma with banana and cloves with a bit of yeast and lemon. No problems here. eaglefan538 (2368), Wilmington, Delaware, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jun 11, 2006 I’d drink another, just because I like the style. But overall, this one was pretty plain. The pour was lacking a big pillowy head. It poured with a normal two finger head that didn’t lace much. The aroma was wheaty and spicey. The flavor followed suit, as the banana aspects were near absent (cloves more dominant). The wheat flavor was like a wet wheat flavor, as this one didn’t have a dry mouthfeel to it at all. An ok beer, but nothing special. nearbeer (1834), Knoxville, Tennessee, USA

Spicy banana and citrus nose. Tastes of banana, citrus and bready yeast. Light-medium body is tingly and refreshing. dogfish120love (266), west hartford, Connecticut, USA

Awesome funky smell banna/ rotten banna (not a bad thing), bread, orange peel, spices( coriander). The flavor has a huge ligering bannana or orange juice flavor, reminds me of a juice made by dole pineapple, orange and bannana. I don’t drink manny Hefe but I really don’t mind this.
