Commercial Description:
A 2002 Bronze Medal Winner in the North American Brewers' Association competition. This northern Arizona favorite has a consistent nutty flavor with just a hint of spice in its depths. A slowly emerging bitterness crops up along the way and is unobtrusively incorporated into the smooth flow. It finishes with a gentle nuttiness and spiciness. Excellent with sandwiches and subs.

Bottle. Nice amber body. Flavor is oatey, malty, sweet, smokey, with a thin coffee taste. A little thin, but compared to the OC Golden Lager and Amber, this stuff is magic in a bottle.

bottle. mahogany with a small off-white head. aroma is nutty with notes of caramel and lots of malt. creamy texture, light, thin body. there isn’t really very much flavour, hardly any hops. Oh well.

Clear brown with a small and quick dissapearing head. Aroma is nice and nutty (hazelnut?) and thats about the best thing I can say. Taste is watered down. Not much happening here. Thank god for single bottle sales.

Light brown in color, with a light hazelnut taste to it. Not much to desire for this beer, but hey every beer is work a try.

Bottle poured dar brown, almost black. very small aroma of roast nuts. Flavor is roasty but thin and light, this is an easy drinking beer and a person could drink a lot at one sitting ...not bad at all.

Gotta support my home town brews... This brown ale has a quick dissipating head and is a lacks some big punch, but it’s smoky nutty flavor keeps me coming back for more. Plus, it’s made down the street, so it’s easy to get in jugs for the road.
