On tap @ OCBC. Dark copper pour with small ivory head that diminishes into a ring but leaves a significant amount of spotty lacing. Aroma is brown sugar, molasses, and smoke. Flavor exhibits all of the before mentioned qualities along with caramel, cotton candy, and a beautiful alcohol kick. Really enjoyed this one...enough to get a growler!!!

On tap at brew pub. Pours medium brown with a foamy beige head that results in nice lacing. The nose is brown sugar, light hops and some alcohol. The taste is caramel, molasses and a slight boozy finish. Medium bodied – decent scotch ale. Packs a punch.

7th Annual Strong Beer Festival, Mesa, Az. Fermented spice lights up the nose. Light brown body with tan head. Flavor was sweet and alcohol kick was little rough for third beer of the fest.
