Aroma is mildly sour with some citrus qualities to it. Flavor is lightly yeasty, somewhat sour, with citrus, coriander, and banana flavors. Moderate mouth feel. I really like this beer a lot. Not completely traditional belgian, but it’s good enough by my standards. RSRIZZO (1369), Colorado Springs, Colorado, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Nov 18, 2007 Had this beer on 6/10/2006. Aroma is a bit faint but it does have a classic Hefe scent. Color is a hazy yellow with light carbonation and a thin head. Taste is light and sour. Starting with a light/medium body it goes down fizzy with a slightly sweet feel. Finish comes on with this sweetness turning sour then going back to a faint sweet orange taste. Over not one of the better Hefes I’ve ever had, but it is a nice beer to drink. | 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Oct 17, 2007 Bottle: The body is a slightly hazed yellow color and the head barely exits even following a vigorous pour. The aroma is lightly lemony and has soft wheat malt, a dash of coriander, and some banana. The flavor is wheaty with a healthy dosage of coriander and a light lemony tartness. Pretty refreshing.

| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | May 16, 2007 Draught at the brewpub. Definitely a wit - firmly spiced/coriandered with citrus and yeast, good blend. Opaque cloudy banana color. Small lacing white head. Some nice biscuity, pretzelly malt shining through the lemon, yeast, and coriander. Medium body, smooth mf, with a tart smack for a finish and a lightly bitter aftertaste. Excellent! A nudge better than Upland’s. rowefam3 (70), kendallville, Indiana, USA

Nothing is really wrong with it. A little light, but tastes fine on a hot summer day. MI2CA (1266), Noblesville, Indiana, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 4/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Jan 22, 2007 12oz - Perfumey aroma of artifical orange, coriander and yeast. With sediment, pours hazy yellow with a small head and decent lacing. Flavor matches aroma with a strong malt/yeast profile that is overwhelmed by the orange and spice. An astringent aftertaste really takes away from this brew. Palate is sticky and tart. As with many bad examples of Witbiers, the added flavors are too strong and cover up any beer underneath.
