Poured clear golden color with an average frothy white head that mostly lasted with good lacing. Moderate yeast, sweet malt and small fruity aroma. Medium body with a smooth texture and lively carbonation. Medium sweet flavor with a medium sweet finish of moderate duration.
Good drinkable beer that is average for style. JCB (1753), Durham, North Carolina, USA

Faint spice in the aroma with some sweet candied malts and pert fruity esters. Body is crisp and just a bit thin. The flavors are nice, and fairly balanced as well. Slight peppery tang in the finish. Pretty solid tripel. johntreeter (122), Greenwood, Indiana, USA
| 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Dec 20, 2008 12 oz bottle. Pours a hazy golden color with a thin whit head that leaves some lacing. Aroma of classic belgium yeast, clove, honey, candy, and a little citrus. Flavor is along the same line with a bit of sweetness and more citrus. Good fizzy carb, med body, light syrupy texture, sweet and smooth finish. This beer is almost too drinkable for as big as it is (around 10% or so), so careful they go down easy and the alcohol is completely hidden untill afterwards. patrick767 (2033), fort wayne, Indiana, USA

| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | May 27, 2008 Appearance: Pours a clear, deep yellow body with a small, bubbly, white head.
Smell: Aroma is a mishmash of notes smelling of pale malts, banana, clove, yeast, candi sugar, sauvignon blanc, and ginger. There ya go!
Taste: Candyish palt maltiness with minor tastes of banana and clove. Splash of white wine. Slight yeastiness. No apparent bitterness. Remains sweet until the very tailend of the finish. Lingering taste of ginger.
Mouthfeel: Medium-bodied. Medium carbonation. Slight stickiness to the mouthfeel.
Drinkability: Good, though a bit on the sweeter side for tripels. I’d certainly be up for another.
