| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 12/20 | May 24, 2008 Pours a slightly hazy golden with a thin ring of small-bubbled wispy-white head. Aroma of orange citrus and pale malts with some phenols. Body starts fairly full and viscous with some bready yeasty and sweet malt and honey notes along with a touch of light fruity flavors before a warming finish. Has some decent authenticity but needs more balance. shp555 (1691), Atlanta, Georgia, USA

| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Jan 19, 2008 Bottle. Sweetish vanilla and yeast aroma, also a good deal of honey and wood, resolving to a nice bready malt. Pale golden pour with soapy white head. Taste is too sweet, yet not quite cloying, with a bready dryish aftertaste and vague shivs of fruit. Clove notes are nice and rounded, but there a very slight tendency toward staleness, with a nice, tingling mf and medium body. Honey, vanilla, and yeast. Not as harshly alcoholic as I have come to know tripels, but then again, all the more drinkable. Think I’d like this with Thai food. In short, smooth and above average, but not by much. | 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Jan 13, 2008 On tap at Rich O’s - Pours burnished golden with a mostly receding wispy off-white head. Aroma of pineapple, banana, apricot and bubble gum. Taste is fruity and estery with many of the aromatic notes combined with a gentle candi sugar sweetness. Mouthfeel is medium to full bodied with lush carbonation. A well done tripel, one of the better American examples. Optigon (562), Bloomington, Indiana, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 12/20 | Jan 4, 2008 Pours yellow, clear, with very little head. Aroma is rather grassy. Flavor is grassy with some qualities of light fruit and yeast. Moderate mouth feel.
Not a bad beer all around, although it feels more like a Vienna or a Dortmunder to me than a Tripel. shrubber85 (2997), Wallhalben, Germany
