clear gold pour like filtered apple juice. a voluminous white head that is pocked with craters. spicey apple jolly rancher note in the nose with some light clove and banana. a nice fruit cup aroma. lemon fried pie flavor with either grains of paradise or corriander(i get the two confused i’ve learned). very slick mouthfeel. at first was too sweet for me, had too much lingering boozey sweetness with something like a pear cider. not to the point of being bad, but just wasn’t my cup of noodles. then it clicked after about 10 minutes of sipping. it hit it’s stride and the sweetness backed off and it was comparable to an avery salvation. thanks atpayne.

12oz - Aroma is spicy, citrus, banana, and bubblegum. Smells a bit musty and sour for a tripel. Pours golden yellow with no head or lacing. Looks like I urinated in my tulip. Flavor matches aroma with a heavy alcohol burn. Palate is thin and watery. It became pretty harsh as it reached room temps. Not my idea of a good tripel, but they should keep trying.

Golden pour. The nose was spicy and full of yeast and malts. The flavor revealed notes of coriander and cinnamon with a sweet fruit background before yielding to the alcohol. The medium body was soft and smooth on the palate. A bitter bite followed its way into the dry finish. Tasty and enjoyable.

Super clear, very pale with little head and appropriate activity. Too clear and pale for the style in my opinion. The aroma is very tripel like. Tangy and a bit spicy with an alcohol sting that hits last and nearly overpowers the malt and yeast. Has a full malty character. Tangy with some white wine notes and a litttle sweetness closing with definate alcohol character. Little bit thin for my liking, but I do like what Oaken Barrel is starting to do with their beers.

Hazy gold pour. Enticing yeast aroma of ripe banana, apple and vanilla all wrapped in barnyard funk and earthiness. Soft, smooth carbonation is quite fitting, creating a luscious mouthfeel. The body starts tart - noting apple and pear - but quickly moves to a long, sweet finish of brown sugar and caramel. There is a nice alcholic heat throughout. Look out, this brewery has been doing some good things lately.

Clear, golden body with virtually no head--only a few, white bubbles in a small ring. Sweet, fruity, estery aroma of oranges, passionfruit, apricot, perfume, wheat, barley and other grains, alcohol, fresh flowers and some coriander. The body is reasonably moderate, if not a little thin. The carbonation is soft and almost non-existent. The flavor starts off sweet and fruity with a touch of spice, as expected, but quickly dries out and ends grainy and slightly alcoholic. The finish is not as enjoyable, but quickly disappears in a satisfying refreshment. It’s not the most amazing or spectacular tripel, but it’s reasonably enjoyable.

12 oz bottle. Pours semi-cloudy orange-amber with a quickly disappearing small head. Aroma has a hint of citrus. Taste is really fruity and quite dry. Not what I expected. Not bad, but a little disappointing.

(draft) A fairly standard tripel with a hnt of apricots. Quite good. I wish I could say more about this beer, but there was really nothing special about it.
