| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jun 19, 2009 Pour from a 12 oz bottle. Amber brew with thin, off white head and rich aroma of floral hops. Flavor is dominated by hops, with a strong, dry, hoppy finish. Some fruity overtones in the body. Almost seems to be more like an IPA than a pale ale, but whatever – if you like hopped up brews you’ll like this. Could use a bit more balance in the flave (just a little malt sweetness, please…) but overall a real wake up brew. (Whatever that is.) LtDan (516), LA - Originally from South NJ!, California, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Mar 14, 2009 Appearance: Pours a cloudy light orange with a pinstripe of white suds.
Aroma: Citrus (orange mostly), dried apricot and sugar.
Taste: Much like the aroma, I get a sugary malt/ citrus burst, followed by some moderate bitter hops.
Mouthfeel: Almost sticky.
Overall: A very malty Pale ale, with some body to it. Perhaps too sweet for a pale ale, a handful more of hops would have served it well. That probably would have taken it into IPA territories. maawallace (7), USA does not count | 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 5/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Feb 18, 2009 I really like this beer and think that it has too low of a score. It is a lovely every day beer with a lovely hoppy/caramely aroma, perfect appearance, nice balanced flavor, and just a rather enjoyable experience.
I think this beer is a little too poorly rated and deserves more. topherh (936), Kearney, Missouri, USA

Pours an amber golden color with a half in. off white head that left some lacing. Aroma of roasted malts and fruity, citrus hops. Flavor is a light sweet caramel with a strong backbone of hops that leave that long dry finish. Med body, mild carb, wet texture, and dry feel. This is my go to pale. It helps that I’m right down the road and fresh beer rules.. drfabulous (1254), Columbia, Missouri, USA

I had never heard of this one when I saw it on the shelf. Very nice aroma and flavor. Overall, solid APA and worth being a session beer anytime. MI2CA (1266), Noblesville, Indiana, USA
