Good hefe. Phenolic banana/clove aromas, lemony wheat aroma. Thick head, refreshing wheat flavor, banana flavor as well. Brewpubs obviously don’t have the advantage of bottle refermentation, but this is a good weissbier.

I’ve had this brew on several different occasions during the summer. Freshly brewed it was very pleasing. Several weeks later. it lost some of it’s charm. Overall not bad. Good banana-clove taste. Not over carbonated. Decent head but not a creamy as I like. A little too malty for my taste but drinkable.

med. yellow color with some bubbles. Fresh taste but flavorful. A little malty, a little fruity. Very mild.

I had this on draft at a beer festival. The brewer said that it was called Uber-weizen, so if I’m not rating the correct beer, please let me know. The medium yellow body had a medium-sized white head. The aroma was potent, but not pleasant. It tasted a lot like rotten meat.

Draft at Oaken Barrel. Poured a medium sized white head and fine-sized bubbles that mostly dissipated. Uncarbonated, cloudy and a straw yellow hue. Weak aroma. Some malt flavor and some banana and light clove. Smooth mouthfeel and fair lacing.

This draft brew from the brewery poured a medium sized head of finely sized mostly lasting bubbles that left behind a fair lacing. The body was a uncarbonated hazy yellow orange color. The aroma contained notes of malt wheat and mild yeast. The mouth feel was tingly with a fruity banana lingering taste in the finish. It had malt hop yeast and wheat flavors in it.
