Good retention of the foam around the glass. Nose is fruity and hoppy, smells of strawberries ahnd plastic. Taste is bitter and astringent with a medium body. Finishes somewhat fruity, but also bitter in a wierd unpleasant way. We home brewed something like this once... and I poured the batch down the drain. Not a good beer IMHO. Kind of a solid woody/organic flavor. Might call it bland for an amber, but it doesnt go anywhere it shouldnt. MrRain (433), O’Fallon, Illinois, USA

It has good taste but not the typical overpowering kick of some ambers. You could drink quite a few of these & still be in good shape. kp (8500), Woodstock, Georgia, USA

More nutty almost like a really good brown ale. Not usually a fan of ambers but I would actually have this one again. Looks like it doesn’t fair well in the bottle though.
