Tmoney99 (4656), Cincinnati, Ohio, USA Jun 7, 2009 Draft at brewpub.
Poured clear copper color with an average fizzy white head that mostly lasted with good lacing. Moderate complex roasted sweet malty aroma. Medium body with a smooth texture and soft carbonation. Moderate balanced malty sweet flavor with a medium sweet finish of moderate duration.
Solid drinkable beer. MrRain (415), O’Fallon, Illinois, USA Jan 21, 2008 Small, non-existant head. Copper colored throughout. You can almost catch a whiff of clove in smell but not in taste. The palette has a small alcohol tingle and a fair amount of flowery after taste. It seems to somehow miss the front of your mouth and slip directly down the back of the throat.
