Not a whole lot going on here. A craft version of the classic macro. No cord, and with hops you can actualy taste. Touch of grapes and honey. That’s about it. Not really brewed for the beer geek crowd, so take that into consideration with this review. OB makes some damn tasty beers, this just isn’t really their moment in the sun, but probably accomplishes exactly what they want it to.

On tap under a different name. Pours a clear golden color with big fluffy head that laced. Classic lager aroma of malt and a bit of hops in the back. Nice dry bitter flavor balanced by a slight sweetness that did not last into the aftertaste. Lively carb, med to full body, wet refreshing texture and feel. Classic lager, simple and refeshing which is what I look for in this style. The beer you want to drink when just want a "beer".

his is a pretty nice lager. It smells kind of sour, like draft beer lines that haven’t been cleaned well but it tastes just fine. It’s fairly crisp and light.

Too sweet and too thin. I found it suspiciously cloudy. This brewer was once the last best hope of hopheads on the great Southside (of Indianapolis), but has sacrificed quality for quantity in recent years.

A medium sized white head with fine sized bubbles. The body was carbonated and slightly hazy. The hue of this beer was a pale yellow and it left only a fair amount of lacing on the sides of my glass. The nose was malty and somewhat fruity. The flavor was bitter, sweet and it left an aftertaste that lingered. The mouthfeel was smooth and thin. This beer lacks character as nothing really stood out with this beer.

This brew poured a medium head of fine to medium sized mostly lasting white bubbles that left very little lacing and a hazy straw yellow body behind. Its aroma is one of malt and banana or fruit. The mouthfeel is initially smooth then bitters in its finish. The flavor is a mixture of fruit and malt with a beady or doughy nature to it.

Had it on tap at the brewpub. Defective, strong diacetyl and slight DMS. A poorly made lager that I couldn't finish. The porter black bean soup, OTOH, absolutely rocked.

On tap. Zippy pils. Almost a little salty. Long saaz finish. Good palate. Woody gold. Cool winged Victory logo.
