| 2.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 7/20 | Nov 1, 2006 Pours a cloudy pink with a very small head. The aroma is of raspberries as well as the flavor. Little else is apparent in the flavor and there is a dry finish. BBB63 (4271), La Porte, Indiana, USA
| 1.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 2/10 | 3/5 | 3/20 | Sep 8, 2006 Thanks to Jeff for reminding me I need to rate these bottles for Oaken Barrel, First is the Razz which I have had in the past...still no better. Fake syrupy raspberry flavors over musty yeast and tame wheat and malt. Zero depth and a train wreck of flavors. It most redeeming value is the acidity which help cleans the palate. The commercial description is pure rubbish. Dickinsonbeer (3502), Hoboken, New Jersey, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Aug 28, 2006 Thanks to Hippie4beer for this one. Pours a pinkish violet going into the glass then looks moslty a light amber with slight haze while in the glass with a frothy white head htat fades. Aroma is initially pretty nice with lot sof fresh raspberry similar to a weaker raspberry tart, but not as intense or sweet. Then you get a bit of yeast in there adn some light caramel malts to muddle things up. Flavor is very muddled as well- you really dont know what is going on. Light raspberry syrup, bland malts, ok palate, and a slight tart acidity in the end. NachlamSie (1653), Tennessee, USA
| 2.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 1/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 9/20 | Aug 13, 2006 Draught during my Great Lakes region brew tour. Pink, yes, solid pink pour with a foamy pink head. hm. Nose is dense of raspberry and a little rougher scents of whole wheat. Flavor = raspberry syrup and wheat. No surprises here what-so-ever. I note that the commercial description touts a natural, non-syrupy taste. I disagree. It doesn’t help that I don’t particularly care for raspberries in the first place. mtriplett (1), Indianapolis, Indiana, USA does not count | 4.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 5/5 | 9/10 | 4/5 | 18/20 | Jun 21, 2006 I had for the 1st time at an Indianapolis Indians game -- perfect for summer weather. ultraspank (866), Dublin, Ohio, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 2/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | May 28, 2006 Had this on tap at the brewpub last night with a bowl of chicken tortilla soup. Nice nose of (you guessed it) raspberry. Pours a hazy cherry amber. The thin white frothy head is fully diminishing with no lace. The flavor is highly acidic with no shortage of citrus sourness and bite. Very refreshing in fact; perfect for this heat. The body is light, very lively, and dry. | 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | Apr 30, 2006 12 Oz Bottle. Pink/Ruby Red in Color with small white ring head with an amazing raspberry aroma. Unfortunately the raspberry ends there. Taste like weak raspberry flavored water. Light Bodied. Overall a very weak Raspberry Wheat beer.
