Commercial Description:
This robust ale is dark, rich, and chewy. Somewhat bitter with a big and chocolatey malt flavor, the Snake brings the kind of flavor that drinkers of single malt Scotch or straight black coffee appreciate.

Pours dark brown with a fluffy, light tan head. Deep, malty, mildly chocolately aroma. Full mouth feel with strong qualities of chocolate, smoke, and some coffee. Very solid. Good Porter.

Bottle from StFun. A cool dude that loves malt liquor just like me. Nose has hints of chocolate, light roast, and a hint of earthy hops. Cola brown pour. No head or lace. Chocolate up front, roast on the mid palate, and a light bitterness in the finish that hangs around for a second. Just like the flavor description says.

Bottle thanks to bu11zeye. The smell is chocolate, coffee, malts, and wood. The look is brown to red, beige colored head, and ok. The taste is the same as the smell.

Bottle courtesy of bu11zeye. Brown pour with touches of red. Dry smell that’s very weak. Taste is also very weak. Some amounts of coffee ground but not too much else.

Bottle thanks to bu11zeye. Pours with a tan head fading over a brown body. Aroma of smoke, coffee, and blackstrap molasses. Taste is extremely smokey, with chocolate, low residual sugars and molasses. Light bubbles and a dry finish.

Had at a random bar near the hotel at my brother’s wedding in Indianapolis. Not too bad, but nothing all that special.
