grimreeser (662), Minnesota, USA Aug 15, 2008 On tap at brewpub. A hazy golden orange with a small head. Aroma dominated by wheat, also banana and clove in there. Solid flavor. StFun (289), Indiana, USA Jun 23, 2008 oh man, just not my thing. the beer smells like perm, and the taste is pretty close to that as well. some nice banana in the flavor, but everything is just dominated by perm. kp (6200), Woodstock, Georgia, USA Sep 1, 2007 Date: 07/20/2007

EithCubes (1797), Indiana, USA May 16, 2007 Draught at the brewpub. Much spicier aroma than the Alabaster just had, dryer and slightly tarter. Looks the same, a bit thinner. Actually, tastes pretty much the same, too, with much less spice, a little dryer, a little thinner, same biscuitiness but fainter and with a touch of astringency. Aftertaste is a bit fruitier. Yes, definitely less ’Belgian’, but only slightly ’German’ - could have been water passed through dirty tap lines, for I know. shrubber85 (2462), Wallhalben, Rheinland-Pfalz, Germany Sep 4, 2006 Growler. Ripe banana, peach and clove aroma - very nice. Cloudy orange-yellow color with large head. Bubblegum, peach, lemon and wheat malt flavor with a moderate clove finish which actually gives it some bitterness. A very well made Weizen - equal or better than many of its German brethren.
