Cask at The Rosary Tavern Norwich 25 Sep 2006. Pale golden coloured. A tiny soapy head. Fruity aroma. Rich fruity flavour. A lasting sourish bitter aftertaste.

Cask handpump at the Swan in the Rushes, Loughborough. Crystal clear golden colour with a slim white head. Aroma of citrus hops. Great hoppy taste, citrusy again, nice, firm balancing malts. Dry, with a hoppy bitter finish. Addictive.

Another good Gold from this brewery. Very nice in after taste and sweet. I like that, sepcially if they are malty.

Cask at Peterborough BF ’06. Golden with a sweet, soapy floral aroma with something like Parma Violets in the background. Sweet taste with not enough bitterness. Drinkable but not exciting. 1.10.09 Cask at The Chequers, Little Gransden, Cambridgeshire. This time I found it even soapier, with a lot of hay and intrusive citrus. Not my favourite golden. On Cask at the Gaslight. Very pale and hazy looking. The hops are evident but so is some nice citrusy notes. An experience of a beer. I don’t know if it was one that I would revisit time and time again, but it was different and it stands out as such.

Golden, cloudy at first. Very big foamy head, which clears quickly. Complex aromas of peach, melon and grapefuit in part of the mouth and bitter hops in another. Good finish which tickles the tongue slightly.

(cask @ The Old Toad - Rochester, NY) Light and clear yellow color with some foam. Aroma is very hoppy and citrusy with some floral hints. The taste is very dry and and hoppy at the beginning with a smooth and malty middle and a very bitter and hoppy finished. The bitterness at the end really surprised me.
