One of my favourite all time beers. It is like the JHB with all of the citric hoppiness and tangerine/grapefruit, but there is more body and structure to this beer that makes this stunning. A really good beer pivo (2537), Germany

Bright hop nose here as expected. Clear pale gold color and and scumming head that sticks to the glass. Friendly and warm malt body upfront gets overwhelmed by a mountain of hops within a milleseconds. Reminds me of Anchor Liberty. Wow - this is from Britain? Like a dry martini - I love this kinda beer. DanielBrown (1919), Birmingham (via Leicester), West Midlands, England

Bright yellow, with a mucky bit of froth on top. Floral aroma - soft and summery. Deliciously clean, and, as someone said below, slightly oily. Full of freshness and floral tang - this is full and clean, and crisply rich. [3.9]. RE-RATE -drank this in the Actress and Bishop on Saturday. Having sampled it more often than almost any other beer, I realised what a travesty that I’d rated this so low. It is superbly consistent and just plain superb, for all the reasons noted in my first rate. Amazing. I have no idea what the last reviewer was drinking but it certainly wasn’t Bishops Farewell. This ale is wonderfully aromatic using a huge dose of Mount Hood and Challenger for bittering. The taste is citrus and the finish is sharp and very refreshing. oh6gdx (9104), Vasa, Finland

Aroma is nectar, wood and some sweet malts. Flavour is malts, hops and grass. Also slightly creamy notes. Nicely balanced brew. JonMoore (1562), Loughborough, Leicestershire, England

Dry with lots of hop flavour and bitterness leaving the teeth feeling squeaky clean with a lip-smacking tangyness.
