| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Mar 25, 2007 Huge coarse-laced white head over light copper body with some carbonation. Fruity, resiny aroma with hoppy notes. Sharpish, peppery resiny taste with lemony, fruity, wooden notes. Bitter, wooden aftertaste. Interesting, and drinkable, but quite sharp, without too much pleasant stuff to make up for it. Does indeed not taste like a typical lager, but neither does it taste like a normal bitter. | 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Mar 24, 2007 Half pint pulled (cask) at The Rake at London Bridge (London), settled to a clear light amber with a foamy white head. A light citrus hop aroma. A light and smooth palate, citrus hop flavours and juicy malts. A good level of bitterness, dry in the finish. If only more lagers could be like this. | 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 5/5 | 16/20 | Feb 15, 2007 Brewed with lager yeast, but a dead ringer for a premium bitter. Some carbonation, and the secondary fermentation keeps the beer alive and well. Liberal use of English hops gives a fine lingering bitterness. Great stuff! thebeertourist (2822), Oslo, Norway
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Jan 20, 2007 Bottle. Pale, pinkish golden with a small cask-like head. Fruity hop aroma with some toffee. Good fruit toffee flavours, quite dry towards the finish. Medium to light body. Pleasant and harmonious. TBone (6850), Pori, Finland

"A bottle conditioned lager" with CAMRA’s logo "this is REAL ALE" ... hmm, interesting. Slightly hazy golden - orange color, cloudy white head. Buttery, woody, hoppy nose. Despite the name - it tastes bitter. Starts watery, then the burst of lime comes in. Citric hoppy aftertaste. duff (5475), Surrey, Greater London, England

Aromatic aroma. Some oramgey flavours, grapefruit, some lychee? This is a lager? Pretty impressive i must say. Joeh (1908), Buckinghamshire, England
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | May 12, 2006 Cask Conditioned at Ealing Beer on Broadway Festival, 2006. Golden colour. Sweet, fresh malt upfront with some fruit and floral hop flavour. Plenty of character to this. I wouldn’t imagine this is bottom fermented or lagered, very few of the British beers claiming to be lagers are.
