Well, I’m always excited to try a new CT brewed beer, but this was a bit of a disappointment. Came a golden amber with a thin finger of white foam. Aroma is kinda of blah, not a whole lot to it. Light, earthy, and slightly citrussy hops mingle with some sweet graininess, and a bit of diacetyl. Flavor starts with some sweet grain, hints of caramel, then some light earthy and lightly piney/citrussy hops. Some butteriness comes through as well, unfortunately. Best of luck to the newest brewers in CT, but I just can’t say too many positive things about this one. Mediocre at best, just fine if there aren’t any other options.
