Green bottle from Kielbasa, Williamburg VA: Slightly skunked lemon and clove nose. Shimmering golden, medium white head. Lemon and grass flavor, slightly sweet honeysuckle is barely detectable, finishes more grassy and bitter. Not a half bad lager. There’s some nice things happening. The problem is you need to strain to find them.

.5 liter bottle. Metallic straw like aroma and similar taste. Much like any cheap mass produced lager. Better than some but overall pretty skunky and bad.

Can via my folks on a trip to the Ukraine. Pours a straw gold with white head that falls quick. Sweet grain nose. Flavor is sweet with filler grain flavor with Eastern Euro hops. Thin body that has that pound it until its gone feel.

Bottle. Straw blonde with a fizzy white head. Aroma is malty, slightly skunky, grassy with corny notes and grains. taste is sweet malt, corn syrup, grains, and grassy hops. Body is light-medium and very fizzy, carbonation-wise. Ends with more sweet malts, corny notes, soft metallic bitterness, grassy hops and grains. Not too terribly bad and actually hit the spot after working outdoors.

Pours pale yellow with a thin white head from a can. Kind of fizzy with a watery palate. Not much aroma -- sort of malty/adjunct sweet with very little hoppiness. Flavor doesn’t offer much more: some skunky, metallic flavors and some adjunct-induced sweetness. Taste gets markedly worse as it warms. A very average European lager improved by the fact that it was drunk on a bench in a quiet park in Odessa, Ukraine.
