Made for Bishops Arms in Malmö. Brewed with Maris Otter Pale Ale Malt, Chocolatemalt (12%), Crystalmalt, Caramalt and Flaked Barley. Bitteringhops: Cascade, Pilgrim. Aromahops: East Kent Goldnings.

Draught at SBWF09. Pours out in an almost black colour with a rich pale brown head. Rich aroma of dark coffee, figs, mild smoke, dark chocolate and sweet licorice. Medium-bodied with notes of dark chocolate, black coffee, burnt sugar and sweet licorice. Medium-bitter finish of licorice, roasted almonds and dark coffee.

Draught@Bishops Arms Vasagatan, Stockholm. Very deep brown colour (close to black) and mediumsized creamy brwn head. Aroma is coffee, roasted malts, some slight chocolate as well as mild liquorice. Flavour is strong roasted malts along with coffee, chocolate and also some bittery hops. Ends in wet burnt wooden notes. Lovely.

From cask at Bishops Arms. Pours pitch black with a thick and creamy head. Chocolate brown. Aroma is dark coffeeish and roasted malty. Bitter, coffee and roasted malt flavoured. Light acidic touch. Lingering dry and roasted finish. Nice one.

Cask. A pitch black beer with a brown head. The aroma has notes of roasted malt and wood as well as a bit of tar. The flavor is sweet with strong notes chocolate, minerals, roasted malt, and bitter chocolate, leading to a dry woody and roasted finish.

Draught at the Rover, Göteborg, Sweden. Black with medium beige head. Dark chocolate aroma with notes of gunpowder, tobacco, and some faint burnt rubber. Light to medium bodied, medium carbonation, smooth texture. Very dry, quite bitter.

Draught. Dark with brown head. Chocolate with some dark fruit. Low bitterness. Coffee. Refreshing, nice porter that you can have one than one pint of since it is not that extreme as some other can be.

On draught at Bishops Arms, Järntorget. Dark brown colour, pale brown head. Grainy aroma with elegant fruitiness, along with bitter chocolate. Fresh grainy flavour, with dark, bitter chocolate sensation that lingers. Bit fruity. Rounded mouthfeel. Low hop bitterness. Yummy!

On-tap. Bishops Arms Järntorget, Porterveckan. Almost black colour with a beige head. Aroma: roasted malt, coffee, chocolate, lightly acidic. Flavor: roasted malt, coffee, dark chocolate, lightly smoky, lightly acidic. A bit burned, dry finish. Light to medium bodied.
