I wasn’t all that impressed but I suppose it is a decent session beer for a hot summer day Papsoe (14613), Frederiksberg, Denmark Jul 25, 2009 Updated: Jul 27, 2009On tap. Clear golden with a white head. sweetish fruity nose. Medium body, with very sweet fruits, a little low in carbonation, mashy and yeasty. No real bitterness. 080709
On tap. Hazy yellow with a small white head. Light body, a little malt - but somehow doesn’t appear fully fermented. The finish is dry and somewhat sulphurous. 5/2/4/2/9=2.2 070709 yespr (11613), Copenhagen O, Denmark Jul 23, 2009 From tap at Stone Bistro. Pours hazy golden yellow to orange with a small white head. Clear amber with a fizzy white head. Bready aroma and a grainy taste. A pretty straightforward beer. wetherel (1565), Encinitas, California, USA Mar 10, 2007 I visited the oceanside ale works for a tasting. It was fun with many people (~20) drinking and talking. Simple, good everyday beer for most people. I’m into strong interesting beers, so i didn’t rate it high, but it’s good for it’s category of lighter beers. limalimamoli (52), Oceanside, California, USA Nov 14, 2006 Aroma: Light sweet malty aroma. Low hop aroma. Appearance yellow to deep gold in color tinge or orange. Good retention. Flavor-initial soft malty sweetness, slight caramel flavort Low bitterness, but the balance is the malt. Finishes somewhat sweet. Mouthfeel: medium-full body. High carbonation. Smooth without harsh bitterness or astringency.
Overall Impression: Easy-drinking, approachable, malt-oriented brew
