This is a great beer. The mouth feel and the rosy characteristics is quite interesting. I really do enjoy this oaked beer. The Alcohol is not even noticed when consumed. Thanks OAW for this great beer.

Hand bottle: Hazy deep bronze orange with an off white head. Infected aroma- leathery, grainy and vague. Crisp feel with no evidence of 12% ABV. Odd funky notes- almost seems like a brett strain, but it’s apparent infection. Some citric notes with little of the malt base coming through. Mainly grainy and earthy- quite simple. Was this intentionally inoculated?

Handbottle, thanks Max. May not have held up too well but wasn’t all that bad. Lots of oak, some faint dry funk. Flavor had a little pepper, belgian spice, sweetness and lemongrass. Bretty finish, not too bad.

Bottle courtesy of Max at Peter’s tasting. Pours a just hazy brown without much of a head. Plum, prune, malt, light earthy hop presence. Medium bodied, sweet, lemony. Finishes up with some crisp dry lemon and bitterness.

On tap. Cloudy - almost muddy - and opaque amber with a creamy beige head. Very tart and fruity nose. Medium body, distinct Bretty accents, yeast and wood. Dry and astringent finish. Quite unique. 080709

From tap at the brewery. Pours dark brown with a smallbrown to tan head. Dry acidic and fruity aroma. Acidic to citric and fruity. Flavour is citric to cherry and dry. Smooth and wooden. Phenolic and dry finish. Lovely stuff.

12oz handbottle from a growler via wetherel. Pours orangey brown with a tan head. Nose is sweet and malty. Taste is sweet, oaky, somewhat oxidized hops, weird.
