| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 9/20 | Oct 11, 2007 This beer pours a brilliant copper color with a fair amount of white head which quickly fades to a fine scum. Aroma is of some hops, some candy sugar, and more malt than I expected. Flavor is very malty and sour up front (like a not very heavily hopped barley-wine, but lighter) with some hops becoming present afterwards. Mouthfeel is thin. I’m not a fan of this. Light hoppy. Caramel, sweetness, a bit boring. Maltyness, fruityness. - Well just boring. troyc (1175), Lubbock, Texas, USA

| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Sep 14, 2007 Pours a clear, pale copper with a frothy off-white head. On the nose are fruity, floral and earthy hops, pale malt and caramel. Light to medium-bodied, thin and slick with a mildly bitter finish. The flavor is a sweet, pale malt front with a fruity, nutty and lightly resinous conclusion. The mouthfeel on this beer is unusually thin for the level of flavor that I’m getting from it, but overall I like it. This would certainly make a nice session beer. Easy drinking and less filling but with the flavor to make it worth your while to drink several. ratman197 (3270), Arvada, Colorado, USA
