| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Jun 5, 2008 90 shilling is somewhat surprising. When you smell it, it smells malty, like you would expect from the style. When you drink it however, there is a distinct hop character, not aroma, character. It has a copper color, with a nice tan head. It is very drinkable and I really enjoyed the hops.

| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Jun 1, 2008 Pours brown with a little light tan head. Toffee aromas and flavors. Lightly hopped, clean. Not as syrupy-sweet as some Scottish ales, but quite filling. I can’t drink more than two in a row without feeling stuffed. Moderate finish with notes of butterscotch. | 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | May 10, 2008 Draft @ Blue Bonnet. Pours in amber with a small off white head. Aroma is malty with notes of toffee and light hops. The flavor is more of the same. Although decidedly malty this beer does display some balance with its moderate hop flavors. Mouthfeel is medium and it finishes cleanly. A nice amber.scottish ale. GreatLibations (1447), Last Supper, Arizona, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | May 8, 2008 Pours amber with a decent head on it’s shoulders. Good head retention and lacing. Aromas of sweet caramel. Medium nectar with good carbonation. Mildly sweet and malty with peaceful bittering. It’s a watered down version of a Scottish ale with an almost crispness to liven it up and some biscuiting finishing up with faint traces of sweetness. scooterbub (383), Lander, Wyoming, USA
| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | May 4, 2008 Bottle. Pours a light amber-brown with a thin tan head. Has a roasted malt, hop and smoke taste with a dry/bitter finish. The aroma is of smoke and hops. Pretty tasty, but is easy to drink as it is smooth. Pretty enjoyable, but it reminds me of Redhook’s Long Hammer IPA too much. Overall, there are better choices out there, which makes this a forgettable beer. mmather (113), Colorado, USA
