Rather earthy flavor profile shows soft leafy and citrusy hops in the nose, paired with a relatively dark malt taste compared to the color, closing on meatiness. Little fruitiness is at stakes here, but you can dream of orange hints with an effort, while most of the aromas hang around a buttered hazelnut and cerealic, bready and bordering worty range. Rather easy to drink, but pretty plain and more fruits would be enjoyed. Watery texture, very thin bodied yet with a strong carbonation, well distributed that gives a sense of amplitude. ryan (1776), Beltsville, Maryland, USA

The aroma is light, caramel, cookie dough and dark fruits. Flavor is semi-sweet, caramel, light citrus hops, a touch of roast comes at the end. Mouthfeel is thin but smooth. fiulijn (7150), Como; Lausanne (CH); Malmö (SWE), Italy

To me this was much closer to an amber lager or even an easy going APA. A bit light on the malt and a little heavier on the hops than expected. It has a semi-sweet malty aroma with an almost citrusy undertone. Great combination of malt and hops upon first drinking with a slightly sweet after-taste; good balance for a Scotch ale. It is pleasing on the tongue, down the throat and after swallowing. Braudog (3762), Dayton, Ohio, USA

Nice little caramel-y aroma. Bit watery. Nice crisp drinker of caramel, malt and a nice hop twist. Pretty good. badgerben (3600), Blaine, Minnesota, USA

Bitter taste (Goldings) with a dry malt body. It struck me as one dimensional and not really true to style. Weaker and hoppier than it should be.
