Flavor was heavy roasted coffee with that dirt flavor you sometimes found in cheap tequila. Very greasy texture that just sticks to the palate. ¾ (4999), Colorado, USA

Nose is oily, rich worcestershire sauce and blackened, scorched coffee grounds. Low carbonation fits with the oiliness. Flavor is oily, filmy espresso beans with some soy, but completely smooth, another one well attenuated, zero astringency, just pure roast and coffee and chocolate malt. Very nice, love the cask offering, the coffee character is minimal, which works really well. Long lasting resinous charred malt and green coffee finish with a cocoa and chocolate syrup note that lingers for nearly ten minutes. Makes me wish I had some oysters.
