| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Dec 4, 2004 Pretty weak. Some mild hopping, but kind of watery palate that doesn’t really do much for the beer. AlchemistZ (493), Richmond, Virginia, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Nov 10, 2004 Orange/golden color with a thin, white head. Aroma is destinctly English with Goldings hops (earthy, spicy) and some yeast fruit. Flavor and palate are balanced and there is a noticable hard water character. Pretty boring but this was great with the Chinese Green Pepper Steak I was eating. Crosling (1854), Loveland, Colorado, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Oct 3, 2004 Sampled on-tap at the brewery. This is a high quality Pale Ale. It tastes great and looks great. I wish people knew more of this beer and I wish Odell sold more it it. Clear light amber in color with a nice white head. Very sticky lace on this one. Nice!
Floral aromas with sublle fruitiness and a pleasant hop nose.
Nice full malt flavor with fruits and caramel and a lingering long bitter finish. Very nice! Beaver (598), Fort Collins, Colorado, USA
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Aug 17, 2004 The Cutthroat Pale pours a copper orange with a pillowy white head that retains well and shows some lacing.
Its aroma is biscuity malt and grassy hops with some light citrus notes.
The flavor is slightly sweet caramel malts initially with a metallic bitterness and a crisp finish. The palate is very smooth and creamy and leaves a sticky residue.
Overall, a very nice, well balanced English Pale Ale.

| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jul 14, 2004 Big juicy citrus grapefruit hops in this refreshing pale ale. Malts are sweet and seem to match the hops really well. The thinner body also contributes to it’s easy drinking. argo0 (6907), Washington DC, USA

Aroma is lemon, earthy, light grapefruit. Taste is medium sweet, lemon, grapefruit, earthy, caramel, light pine. Light-medium body. The lemon is too strong for the style or with the combination of the other flavors. BeerLimey (1873), California, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 2/5 | 14/20 | Jul 10, 2004 Clear orangey amber hue, good head formation. Instant lemon citrus aroma, slightly grainy. Well carbonated, good biting palate. Hoppy with citric bitterness throughout and decent bite in the finish. Some subdued biscuity maltiness. Definitely not a British pale ale. ¾ (4999), Colorado, USA
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Jun 5, 2004 Aroma is a light pine and lemon, but this one has the overwhelming flavor of peanuts. The finish is full of peanuts as well. Good solid body with a caramel and burnt nut flavor.... sorry, I just can’t get over the peanuts.
